Please notify our office (603-216-0400) at least 2 working days before your refill is needed. We can accept refill requests Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please avoid calling for refills after hours or on weekends.
We regret that we are unable to refill controlled substances outside of usual business hours. We will make every attempt to process refills promptly, but it may take up to 48 hours to fulfill your request (excluding weekends). Please call your pharmacy to confirm that your refill is ready for pick-up.
PRIOR AUTHORIZATION: Certain pharmacy benefits plans may require “Prior Authorization” because of formulary (list of covered medications) restrictions. We will assist you in obtaining a prior authorization, but this often takes several days. We did not create this delay, and the insurers are not always prompt in their responses.
CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES: Certain narcotics, sedatives, and stimulants cannot be filled by a telephone or faxed prescription. In these cases we will arrange for you to pick up a written prescription at the office on a weekday. Because of security issues, we can no longer mail such prescriptions to you. We will ask for a form of identification when you pick up the prescription.
