Specialists

Many doctors of internal medicine choose to sub-specialize in a particular area of study. Subspecialty certification typically requires several additional years of training beyond the standard internal medicine residency. Our staff features two specialists, each licensed in their individual areas of expertise. Their subspecialties include Rheumatology and Infectious Diseases. SNHIMA's specialists are an extraordinary asset to our practice, helping patients to better manage and treat the acute health problems which affect their daily lives.

Physician Assistants

A Physician Assistant (PA) is a health care professional who is licensed to practice medicine under physician supervision. Southern New Hampshire Internal Medicine Associates is proud to have dedicated physician assistants as part of our team. Through their close working relationship with our staff physicians, our PAs bring a new dimension of personal care to our practice. In addition to performing physical exams, they have the ability to diagnose and treat common illnesses, analyze and interpret test results, and prescribe medication. Our Physician Assistants also take on an educator role at our facility, counseling patients on how to prevent illness and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
