AMRUTH JONNALAGADDA, MD

Dr. Jonnalagadda received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Case Western Reserve University and his Doctor of Medicine from University of Pittsburgh. He completed his residency at University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia. He grew up in Hollis, New Hampshire and joined SNHIMA in January of 2021 to be closer to family and enjoy the New England outdoors and sports teams. He enjoys preventative care and helping patients make tailored decisions regarding their health.

Andrea Bizar-Schneebaum

ANDREA BIZAR-SCHNEEBAUM, MD, FACR – RHEUMATOLOGY

Dr. Schneebaum received her BS degree from the University of Michigan and her Doctor of Medicine from Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel. She completed her residency at Yale University. Her Fellowship in Rheumatology/Immunology was accomplished at the University of Colorado. Dr. Schneebaum joined Southern NH Internal Medicine Associates in 2000.

ANNE M. CHOUINARD, PA-C

Ms. Chouinard received her Bachelor of Science degree from Bridgewater State College in Massachusetts and her Master of Health Profession in Physician Assistant from Northeastern University. Anne joined Southern New Hampshire Internal Medicine Associates in 2010.

ANNE M. THOMASSEN, ARNP

Ms. Thomassen received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Gordon College in Massachusetts and her Masters of Science Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of New Hampshire. Ms. Thomassen joined Southern New Hampshire Internal Medicine in 2014.

Christina Shaffer, PA-C

Ms. Shaffer received her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Maryland – College Park and her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences in Manchester, New Hampshire. She enjoys working in Internal Medicine because of the variety of patients she cares for. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients. She enjoys snorkeling, knitting, skiing, gardening and spending time with her family and dogs. Ms. Shaffer joined Southern New Hampshire Internal Medicine Associates in 2017

EDMUND S. SCHIAVONI, JR., MD, FACP

Dr. Schiavoni received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire and his doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He completed his residency at Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Schiavoni served as Chief of Medicine and Chairman of Trustees at Parkland Medical Center. He presently is Chairman of the Credentials Committee both at Parkland Medical Center and is a member of the Anthem Northeast Regional Credentialling Committee, He believes that personal relationships and compassionate care are the foundation of primary care practice. He enjoys hiking and skiing.

LAURA J. FOX, MD

Dr. Fox received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Rochester, New York. She completed her residency at Washington Hospital, Washington, D.C. She has special interest in cholesterol management. Dr. Fox joined Southern NH Internal Medicine Associates in 2011.

Dr. Jablonka

MARCIO JABLONKA, MD

Dr. Jablonka received his medical degree from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) Brazil. He completed his internal medicine residency at Framingham Union Hospital, Metro West Medical Center. Dr. Jablonka speaks Portuguese, Spanish and Hebrew. Dr. Jablonka joined Southern NH Internal Medicine Associates in 2016.

MARK B. RICHARD, MD

Dr. Richard received his Bachelor of Science degree from Union College in Schenectady, New York and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Massachusetts. He completed his residency at Maine Medical Center. Dr. Richard has special interest in Geriatric Medicine. He enjoys running and gardening. Dr. Richard joined Southern New Hampshire Internal Medicine Associates in 1994.

MICHELLE SMYTH, APRN

Ms. Smyth (Cleary) earned her BSN from Emmanuel College in Boston, MA and her APRN from Rivier University in Nashua,NH. She enjoys working in primary care as she appreciates the long- term relationships she develops with her patients and their families. She believes in treating the entire patient as a whole and not just the disease which afflicts them. She spends her free time with her family, friends and her dogs. She has been with SNHIMA since 2015.

PATRCK CAROLAN, PAC

Mr. Carolan received his BS in Biology at the University of New Hampshire in 2015 and then went on to the Physician Assistant program at MCPHS University in Boston, MA. There he discovered his passion for Emergency and Internal Medicine, performing rotations at Newton-Wellesley Hospital and Lowell General Hospital, as well as at multiple outpatient internal medicine practices. He graduated from the program in the spring of 2019, joining SNHIMA in the fall of the same year. He looks forward to being a patient advocate and working among multiple disciplines to ensure the best outcomes for patients. Patrick enjoys hiking, travel and restoring furniture in his free time

Ms. Wessling received her Bachelor of Science degree and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of New England in Maine. She enjoys knitting and attending her children’s sporting events. Rebecca joined Southern New Hampshire Internal Medicine Associates in 2006.

Dr. Lafleur received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Vermont. He completed his residency at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He joined Southern NH Internal Medicine Associates in 1989.

SARAH CLARK, DNP

Sarah earned her BS in Psychology from Salem State College in Salem, MA and worked as a lab technician for several years before pursuing a career in nursing. She received her MSN at Rush University in Chicago, IL, working several years as an acute care nurse in Chicago before obtaining her DNP as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Rush University in 2018. She enjoys working in primary care for the variety of patients that she treats and the ability to develop long-term relationships with her patients and their families. She has special interests in chronic disease management, palliative care and hospice medicine. She enjoys cooking, reading and photography in her free time. She joined SNHIMA in September 2020

THOMAS HONG, MD

Dr. Hong received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire and his Doctor of Medicine from Yale University. He completed his residency at Boston University. He is an avid cyclist and believes that an active lifestyle and healthy nutrition are integral to good health. Dr. Hong joined Southern New Hampshire Internal Medicine in 2003.

Dr. Mellish received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Olivet Nazarene University. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at University of Illinois, Christ Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Mellish joined Southern NH Internal Medicine Associates in 2016.
